The Journey Program is giving the youth of the community the opportunity to meet other community members via Journey Above Poverty Inc. bringing in volunteer professionals from our surrounding area. Together in a structured group setting, we are able to allow the youth in our program to learn from the volunteers career and/or hobby choice, how they got where they are, where they are going and why they love it. We will build on these ideas of new opportunities by reflecting with a planned activity either in the community or at our supplied location. We will bring in our volunteers from any and every profession available in order for our youth to learn and plan accordingly to what drives them. We give them the Core Values every session to instill, Respect, Communication, Openness, Good Sportsmanship, Compassion, Honesty, Positive Thinking and Self Motivation. This shows we care and teaches the youth to “Go All Out!”
